Complementing the OES (Optimal Engineering Systems Inc.) growing line of single and multi-axis positioning stages is the Allegra Series of Stored Program Motion Control Systems Controllers. The Allegra Series of Controllers is available as a desktop (pictured) or 19-inch rack mount system.

These easy-to-use, plug-and-play, cost effective motion controllers can be configured for 1, 2, 3, or 4 axes of motion. With the appropriate drivers selected, any combination of stepper motors, DC brush-type servo motors with Quadrature incremental encoders, three-phase brushless DC servo motors with Quadrature incremental encoders or Hall effect sensors, or voice coil motors with linear encoders can be controlled.

The commands are written, loaded and saved into the controller’s memory using the supplied free IDE. The controller is capable of running the commands without need of the host. The Allegra Series also works with host programs such as: C/C++, Python, Visual Basic, LabVIEWTM, and MATLABTM. Also, the System can be operated using an analog joystick or a trackball. Options include HOME and LIMIT switches, TTL/CMOS Inputs and Outputs, Quadrature Encoder Feedback.

The Allegra Series Motion Controllers provide: Up to 7.0 Amps per phase, and up to 256 micro-steps per step resolution, for stepping motors from NEMA 8 to 42; for DC Servos and BLDC servo motors up to 40 Amps per phase, and + 12 VDC to 80 VDC power supply voltage.

Easy to install and use these Motion Control Systems are totally integrated solutions featuring free software. The Allegra Motion Control Systems operate on an input power of 115 or 230 VAC, 50-60 Hz, or +24 VDC input and can be ordered Plug-and-Play when ordering any one of the many single or multi-axis positioning stages that are available from OES.
